MAUD new version 2.99
A serious bug has been discovered and corrected concerning the polarisation correction. IT affected versions from 2.94 and higher. If you are working with Bragg-Brentano geometry it is advised to update. Go to the download page.
Thank you

Hi,
Is there any option to load synchrotron white beam images and set up the instrument correctly?
Best wishes.
David
have a trouble in downloading complete virgin of Maud.
I’m trying to quantify the fraction of phases from an XRD pattern by the Rietvelt method.
However, I found that few peaks are not fitted well (even the intensity value of those peaks is sufficiently high).
So, I’d like to inquire whether there is an optimized method to fit the XRD pattern more accurately?
Thanks in advance!
Thank you for the update. Hereby, I would like to ask. Is the “Angular calibration: 2D curved image” working with neutron diffraction only? I work with XRD Rigaku Rapid that has 2D curved detector. However, when I choose the “Angular calibration: 2D curved image”, the window of plot shows nothing.
Thank you
Did you follow the youtube video explaining how to use it? It works also for images (TIFF) and not only for neutron data from D19. We developed the angular calibration originally for a curve image X-ray detector (IP) and it was then used for neutrons at D19.
If you follow the youtube tutorial, you have to first specify the angular calibration method and then in datafiles load the image and unroll it like for D19 example. If you specify the angular calibration after it will not work.
Yes, I followed the tutorial from the D19ILL first video. However, in my case, after unrolling the esg file, the “2D curved image” setting was still in default value (this result was different from the tutorial at 00:42:20). Also, it was nothing on the plot windows.
